ButtonKaren
I started volunteering with Bee-Released in April 2023 and am a Humanistic Gestalt Counsellor. Being a Gestalt Counsellor means I help people explore how they feel in the present moment, whether this relates to things from their past, present or future. It also means sometimes I work creatively.

ButtonI have been working as a counsellor both in private practice and NHS since 2019. I have a particular interest in working with clients who have experienced trauma, and those with anxiety, although I work with a wide range of clients. My role with Bee Released includes running the twice monthly drop-in sessions, providing support to our student counsellors, and supporting the directors with admin an strategic duties. Outside of work I love walking my dogs in the countryside, scuba diving, board games and horror films!
